The new tracker system launched for the 2017 model year GT-R offers Category 5 Thatcham Approved security.

What does the tracking system do?
The Tracking system offers stolen vehicle tracking (via GPS) with pan European coverage, and is recognised by major insurers thanks to the Thatcham Approval.

3-Year Warranty - All CobraTrak systems benefit from a comprehensive 3yr parts and labour warranty.
International GSM Coverage - Unique roaming SIM card gives coverage accross more than 180 countries.
European Coverage - Local language Police liason and recovery across 40 European countries and Russia.
Tow-Away Alert - Triggered when motion is detected with the ignition switch off.
System Transferable - System transferable to a new vehicle -Re-installation charge applies.
GSM Jamming Detection - Detects electronic blocking of GSM signals.
Automatic Driver Recognition - Drivers are issued with a unique pocket-sized Driver Card and on leaving the vehicle the system automatically arms itself. If the vehicle is moved without the Driver Card present, Vodafone Automotive's Secure Operating Centre is alerted instantly to a potential theft. Even if the vehicle is taken using the vehicles own key.
System Health Check - Regular automatic self diagnostic check.
Theft History - Helps Police to secure convictions.
24/7 Service - Via Vodafone Automotive's Europe wide network of Secure Operating Centres.
Pinpoint GPS Tracking - Accurate to within 10 metres.
Tamper Alert - Activated when the battery is disconnected or discharged, or the system wiring is cut.

Remote Ignition Lock - Enables the Police to authorise Vodafone Automotive to send an alert to the vehicle and prevent the engine being restarted once it comes to a stand still. This significantly increases the chance of both the vehicle and it's contents being recovered undamaged and can help avoid high speed Police pursuit of suspect vehicles.

Membership:
Each Tracker comes with a 1 year‚Äôs membership to the Cobra Tracking Service. A completed the registration form in required for the membership to be activated. Following the first year, Vodafone Automotive will contact the you (the customer) to arrange membership for subsequent years. At the moment the Annual subscription cost is £215 including VAT*.
